, has announced to Disney workers they are going to have to go back to involved in any office. The announcement associated with the 4 day in-office working week stated that this is likely to begin in March.
In the memo seen by employees during the BBC, Iger said, “Nothing can replace the capacity to connect, observe, and produce with peers which comes from being physically together, nor the chance to grow professionally by learning from leaders and mentors.”
The announcement has arrived just months after Iger returned to Disney following his retirement after a 15-year stint with all the company in 2021.The memo went on to inform Disney
workers: “As you’ve heard me say often times, creativity could be the life blood of who our company is and that which we do at Disney. Plus In an innovative business like ours, nothing can replace the capacity to connect, observe and produce with peers which comes from being physically together, nor the chance to grow professionally by learning from leaders and mentors.”
The move can be unpopular with a few who possess become familiar with home working. Through the pandemic, many workers were forced to get results at home. Now, increasingly more companies are asking staff in the future to the office for area of the week, offering ‘hybrid models’ of working.
